NeWiki.org

Speaking of cranks, it appears that my favourite bunch of cranks has finally got sick of real scientists correcting their wikipedia page. Their response? To set their own wiki up, newiki.org, your one stop shop for crank science, enjoy.

Honestly I don't know how DdH manages it, at my last count he was running at least 5 websites and a yahoo discussion group, no wonder they never get updated and that he never has time to see just how wrong he is.

I thought they talked about setting up their own, members-only-access wiki a long time ago. Maybe it was all just the usual hot air?

Did you have a look at the Autodynamics page? He has just copied the citations section from Wikipedia but not bothered to set up the template system that will make it work right. HA!

(On the wikis I run, I installed the recommended Citation.php file and have reasonable footnotes. I've also developed my own template systems, etc. Ha ha, WikiN00b! :)

It's a shame that they didn't bother to put Lucy's in their "biography" section. But I like how DdH suddenly becomes Patricia (under Societies). They really should have proofread the thing before putting it up.

Good to see they still read your blog: hey corrected the error on DdH's bio page, after my last comment.
